START of a NEW ACADEMIC SEMINAR held by KIC MODEL UN SECRETARIAT
Hello, this is KIC Model UN Secretariat.
KIC Model UN Secretariat is a place where we organize MUN conferences like KIMUN and G20 KH Summit.
But, to provide more chances to learn MUN, we decided to start a new program that would not only educate MUN to fellow KIC undergraduate and graduate students and to share thoughts through "KICMUN Academic Seminar".
Anyone, if you are a KICian can participate in this Seminar. We look forward to seeing you.
1. Purpose: To provide students the chance to learn MUN and apply the knowledge acquired through their major courses.
To expand MUN not only as a festival of our own but also towards all KICians.
2. Who can Participate: Anyone belonging to KIC (Double Major is also open to participation)
3. Quota: Max. 30 (Can end quickly if the limit is met. Due to administrative reason, the Max. quota can change)
4. Official Language: English
5. Location and Topic: Int'l College Building, TBA / Every Wednesday 7:30 ~ 9:00
The Role of the United Nations and the Need for Reformation: Focusing on the Power Politics of the UN
6. Activity Period: 1st Semester March ~ June / 2nd Semester September ~ December
*For this semester, we will start on April
**New sessions will be held every semester
***More than 3 absences due to personal reasons, there will be some limitation on continuation and future application
7. Further Notice
1) There will be a joint session with Seoul Campus "Dpt. of Political Science and IR"
2) For newcomers to MUNs, KIMUN (1st Semester Applicant) / G20 (2nd Semester Applicant) is Mandatory. Experienced students don't have any qualifications or mandatory sessions.
3) There can be a session during vacation (once) but TBA based on the participation of the seminar members.
4) Will be granted chance to be selected first if you wish to participate the seminar next semester as well.
